On 13 May 2022 at 14:30 - 19:30 (UK time), the University of Leeds School of Law’s Centre for Business Law and Practice (CBLP), directed by Professor Peter Whelan, will host its Inaugural Conference on Recent Developments in Insolvency Law.

This online conference will focus on the recent tendencies and developments related to insolvency, in particular from a cross-border perspective, as well as on Brexit and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on insolvency law and regulation from an interdisciplinary perspective. A keynote talk will be followed by three panels on corporate, banking, and sovereign insolvency and debt respectively. We will host highly esteemed speakers from universities on three continents and from international organizations such as the IMF and UN. Although this year's event will be held online, our hope is that all future annual events will be conducted in person. More details on the event can be found on its dedicated web page.

This event is free and open to all. It will be streamed live via Zoom. Registration is required.
