A new report by PICUM entitled The silent humanitarian crisis in Greece was released at the end of April. Based on a workshop that took place last December in Athens, bringing together organizations working on migrants’ rights in the country, it examines a range of issues related to immigration from access to human rights, the absence of adequate social protection of refugees and asylum seekers and the surge of racist violence. It also includes practical suggestions for the continuing work of civil society groups. The report can be found here.
