Forthcoming Speaking Engagements

Centre members Sharon Shalev and Ben Bradford will be speaking at events on three different continents over the next few weeks.

On Friday 22nd March Sharon will be in Winnipeg, Canada, where she will be speaking at a conference on solitary confinement: Ending the Isolation: an international conference on solitary confinement and human rights. She will subsequently be at Leicester University on the 22nd May to give a talk entitled 'Solitary confinement and supermax prisons: lessons from America'.

Ben will be giving two talks in April at the Centre for Excellence in Policing and Security, University of Brisbane: 'Crime, Trust and the Legitimacy of Legal Institutions: A Comparative European Analysis'; and 'Securing commitment to organizational goals in the police: Evidence from an English Constabulary'.
