ICYMI - European Commission Publishes Crowdfunding Report

As part of its Action Plan on building a Capital Markets Union, the European Commission recently published a Staff Working Document entitled "Crowdfunding in the EU Capital Markets Union". The report, available here, notes that crowdfunding is developing rapidly in the EU and has potential to become a key source of funding for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. It also finds that there is currently no strong argument for EU policy intervention in the regulation of crowdfunding.
